Siena, Tuscany

Io amo Italia! For years, I’ve had the dream of moving to Italy to live la dolce vita—drink wine, eat bread and ride around the towns of Tuscany on an old bicycle with a big basket on the front (the better to hold my vino and pane). I’ve been studying Italian for a few years, have visited friends who live there multiple times (somehow they got my life!), but I haven’t quite found the coraggio to quit the job, rent out the apartment and just do it.

Recently, I’ve realized that I can enjoy Italy in NYC—from art exhibits to Italian restaurants (where the waiters are usually more than happy to speak Italian) to music and more, Italy is all around us, even here in New York City.

So benvenuto in Italy in NYC!
